Yes on Prop 22
Stammreich Campaign ready for victory in November

Many opportunities for South Bay volunteers to help turn out the vote for John Stammreich and the entire statewide GOP ticket

We have worked very hard together over the past year to build one of the best challenger campaigns in California! Through both strong fiscally responsible messages and a positive can-do spirit, our campaign has positioned itself as one of the best opportunities for a Republican legislative pick-up. But it's more than that...

Regardless of one's political membership, all South Bay residents deserve a state government that promotes a business-friendly climate and protects local funds & services from Sacramento politicians raiding such funds for their political promises to special interests. This message will continue to be the primary one of this campaign to Save the South Bay Dream!

An interesting statistic was brought to the campaign's attention recently: In both 2002 & 2006, every statewide candidate that won a majority vote in this state senate district went on to win election. Both Republican and Democratic candidates alike. This means delivering a South Bay victory for each of our statewide candidates will likely lead to their victory statewide!

To ensure our campaign's victory and that of our statewide team, including Meg Whitman, Carly Fiorina, Tony Strickland and our own South Bay resident, Damon Dunn, it is now time to put our campaign operations into high gear! We have taken the bold step of re-opening the South Bay Republican Headquarters in Torrance on the corner of Hawthorne & Lomita Blvds., the same location as our 2006 & 2008 Republican volunteer operations. We look forward to a large scale operation just as we had in years past, beginning on Tuesday, September 7th, following the Labor Day Weekend.

To prepare for our opening, we will have opportunities to sign up for headquarter shifts at appearances and events throughout all next week, including the South Bay CRA meeting on Monday, the Fiorina-Boxer Debate Watching Party on Wednesday, and throughout the weekend at our Fiesta Hermosa Booth. E-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or simply come in to the headquarters starting September 7th to volunteer.

WHY I SUPPORT PROP. 22 IN NOVEMBER TO STOP STATE RAIDS OF LOCAL FUNDS AND TO PROTECT VITAL LOCAL SERVICES

South Bay voters have an opportunity on Election Day, November 2nd, to stop State politicians from raiding local taxpayer funds that are supposed to be used at the local level for vital local services like emergency 911 response, police, fire, libraries, parks, transportation improvements and more. Your Yes vote on Proposition 22 will stop State raids of local government funds once and for all.

For too long, Sacramento politicians, including my opponent Senator Oropeza, have used loopholes in the law to take billions in taxpayer funds dedicated by the voters to local government and transportation services. The State Legislature took and borrowed $5 billion in 2009 and by the time the state budget is finally signed sometime later this summer, state lawmakers could take billions more.

Stammreich For Senate 2010

Welcome to my campaign website. Please visit regularly to learn more about state government activity and local issues are affecting the South Bay of Southern California, and how I plan to represent my native South Bay as your next State Senator. I will defend it against job-killer legislation, excessive taxation and a sub-standard education system.

Time to tackle the big issues your state legislators have refused to address head-on! Time to hold your elected leaders accountable to your priorities and most importantly, your vote! Time for new leadership in Sacramento, focused on bringing jobs back to the state and bringing education back to where it belongs – among the best in the nation!

Fiorina-Boxer Debate Watching Party
South Bay Republican HQ - September 1st, 6 p.m., Hawthorne & Lomita Blvd in Torrance

As we prepare the Torrance headquarters location for its 2010 re-opening on September 15th, we are also planning to watch the California Senate Debate between our nominee, Carly Fiorina, and Senator Boxer next Wednesday, September 1st.

I've personally sat down with Carly for an extended conversation and had the honor of leading the Pledge at the CA Republican Convention lunch that featured her as our guest speaker. Carly is energetic, strong-willed and is not backing down from conservative principles and values as being a vital prescription for both California and our nation. I am proud to support her as our next California Senator and hope all of you will join us next Wednesday as we cheer her on to a victorious debate over an incumbent who's time has come to go!

We'll also be signing up volunteers for shifts at the new headquarters that will start after Labor Day Weekend. Everyone who signs up for 2 shifts or more will leave with a campaign T-shirt. We'll also have yard signs, bumper stickers, brochures and information on statewide candidates throughout California.

This will be YOUR Republican Headquarters! Dedicated to turning out the Republican vote throughout the South Bay for every GOP nominee!

Please RSVP at this Facebook link or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so that we'll have an accurate count for refreshments.

Thanks and see you on Wednesday.
